The War on Drugs – OMG what a farce…

This situation would be utterly hilarious if its destructive outcomes were not so absolute.

So, why do we have a war on drugs in the first place? As with many disasters these days, we have it because we created it!!

The war on drugs is a United Nations(UN) Accord – you cannot be a member of the UN if you do not ascribe to being at war with drugs. Why is the UN at war with drugs – because it was lobbied by Big Phama. Yes, it’s as simple as that! Why did Big Phama lobby so fiercely? Because it wanted to control supply as a means of generating wealth. A common by line for big business, legal or otherwise…

Fun Fact – what the UN and Big Phama hadn’t factored in was that – we the people – will not be controlled… try as you might, if we want something, we will find a way…

The philosophy that drives the non trauma arm of western medicine, supported Big Phama in particular, is all about masking symptoms not seeking cure – there is no money in cure – masking of symptoms provides an endless revenue stream. Not only that, all manufactured drugs have side effects which may also then need masking – on and on it goes – get the picture…

Fun Fact – those who seek and get caught up in uncontrolled illicit drug use are also just masking their life symptoms rather than treating the cause of their despair…

Another fundamental problem with the western model is the assumption of same, that one size fits all – it does not! We are genetically unique individuals. Fortunately awareness of the mythical nature of mass medicine is emerging…

The differences between the business models of Big Phama and the illicit drug industry are difficult to discern – both are out to make money at any cost, both now produce synthesized versions of natural ingredients often with tragic side effects, both cultivate dependence…

Fun Fact – for decades now more people have died from prescription drugs than illicit drugs…

Yet Big Phama operates within(read above) the law and we are all still at war with “DRUGS”. Decriminalization and implementation of supportive rather than punitive programs for illicit drug users, such as those successful introduced in Portugal, would be a great start.

As for Big Phama – give me a natural product any day…
